He was predeceased by: his parent Manuel Sr.; his son Steven A. Lopes; his sister Elvira Gillespie; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Lopes. He is survived by: his spouse Janet M. Lopes (L'Heureux); his parent Delvina Lopes (Horta); his son Thomas J. Lopes; his brother Manuel Lopes, Jr.; his granddaughters, Heather Dawkins (Joshua), Samantha Lopes and Chelsea Lopes; and his great grandchildren, Eastern Dawkins and Harrison Dawkins.
