He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Richer and Olive Richer (Blouin); and his brother Armand Richer. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Richer (Bressan); and his children, Kathy, Mitch, Rona, Toni and Mario. He is also survived by several grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
