She was predeceased by: her husband Byron C. Steger; and her brother James Chase (Jiggs) of Chepachet. She is survived by: her cousin Blanche; her daughter Linda Steger Olbrys (Jim) of Manchester, CT; her granddaughters, Megan Olbrys (Jose Mogollon) of Branford, CT and Lindsey Olbrys Cook; and her great grandchildren, Virginia Grace of Bridgewater, VA. and Della Mae of Bridgewater, VA..

Pre-pandemic, her idea of great fun was joining her Cribbage Player friends at the Senior Center and playing that game.
