He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary E. Chestnut Chestnut (Richardson) and Floyd C. Chestnut; his daughter Kris Petersen (Greg); his grandson Paul; his great grandchild Nadine Paolantonio; his son Brent Kermen (Tara); his grandsons, Aiden and Preston Kermen; his wife Doris Richard (Richard); and also, Richard Gobern III, Teyarra Kermen and Victoria Kermen.
