He was predeceased by: his son Charles Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Darla L. O'Keefe (Trottier); and his children, John O'Keefe Jr. (Darlene), Dennis O'Keefe (Sue), Kathleen Coon (Ed Maione), Kerri Pedersen and Susan O'Connell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
