He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Hefler and Virginia Hefler (Jamison). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hefler (Arnold); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Bannister (Arnold), Linda Arnold and Richard Arnold (Denise Tucker).
