He is survived by: his wife Lorna Ruth (Smith); his children, Keith William Knost, Kristan Beth Knost McCarthy (Mike), Jana Marcy Knost Battiloro (Chris) and Amy Kathryn Knost Connor (Patrick Jr.); his grandchildren, Anna Brielle Butler, Jonah Nathaniel Butler, Jensen Cole Butler, Katherine Jan McCarthy, Linnea Faith Battiloro, Christopher Zachary Battiloro, Meghan Elizabeth Battiloro, Haley Bridget Connor and Patrick Michael Connor III; and his brother Dr. Peter Noel Knost of Tavares, Florida..
