He was predeceased by: his wife Louise (Everett); his son Robert F. Fanion, Jr. (Fanion); his grandchild Jacen Fanion; and his brother Ronald Fanion. He is survived by: his children, Kim Cercone (Durand) of Northfield, Brian Fanion (Melissa) of Providence and Kevin Fanion (Amy) of Chepachet; his grandchildren, Kyle, Robert III, Cory (Samantha), Melanie, Alexander and Zachary; and his siblings, Patricia Thurber of Maine and Michael Fanion of Massachusetts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as two sister in laws.
