He was predeceased by: his sibling Stathis. He is survived by: his spouse Eleni "Helen" Stathatos (Marnelakis); his children, Dina Platsidakis (Michael), Argiro Bitsakis (Nick), Harinoula Martins (Jose), Maria, Loukas, Ellie, Angelina and Cristiano; and his siblings, Spiros Stathatos of Canada, George, Gerasimos, Dionysios Stathatos, Constantina Grigoratos and Sofia Galiatsatos.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
