He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Therrian); and his siblings, Dennis McCarthy (Peggy) of Cumberland, His and Eunice Lyon of Central Falls. He is survived by: his wife Christine McCarthy (Gorman); his children, Shawn McCarthy of Providence, Lisa McCarthy of Lincoln and Shannon McCarthy of Pawtucket; his grandchildren, Elijah and Aaliyah Parker; and his sisters, Mary McLinden (late Armand) of Pawtucket, Linda Mallory (Wayne) of Greenville and Joan Brierly (Fred) of New Hampshire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
