He is survived by: his children, Eileen Velez of Central Falls, Laura Velez of New York, Jacqueline Velez of Springfield, MA., Hector Velez of New York, Jose Velez of Smithfield, RI and Billy J. Velez of Pawtucket; and his siblings, Efrain Velez of New York, Carmen Perez of Boston, MA, Maria Dolores Velez of New York, Luisa Velez of New York, Sonia Velez of New York, Alfredo Velez and Carlos Rivera. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. nieces and nephews.
