He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Patricia Denelle (Flynn); his parents, Leo E. Denelle and Rita Denelle (Gaboriault); his children, Jason Flynn (Heidi) of Seekonk, MA, Damon Flynn of Woonsocket, Amanda Flynn of Cumberland and Annette Pina of West Warwick; and his brothers, Leo H. Denelle (Maryann) of Woonsocket and Robert Denelle (Donna) of Attleboro, MA. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas' memory to RI Veterans Home Fund, 480 Metacom Ave., Bristol, RI 02909 would be appreciated.
