He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bernier, Sr. and Bertha Bernier (Paget); and his siblings, Ronald, Richard, Eddie, Paul (Snook), Roger, Robert, Leo Bernier, Celia King and Theresa Theriault.

He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Bernier (Costa); his children, Wilfred Bernier, Jr. of Burrillville, Charlene Leduc (Frederick) of Burrillville and Jeffrey Bernier, Sr. of Woonsocket; his grandchildren, Tracey, Michael Bernier of Woonsocket, Joshua Leduc (Kendall) of Gainesville Fla, Stephanie Leduc of Sterling, CT, Lundyn, Jeffrey Bernier of Woonsocket, Ethan Bernier of North Providence and Courtney Brooks of Woonsocket; and his siblings, Henry, Michael, Norman, Gerard Bernier, Claire Simoneau, Debra Rice and Linda Foisy. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
