She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander S. Garven and Adrienne E. Garven (Clancy). She is survived by: her husband Wayne S. Faring; and her children, Ian Alexander of Chapel Hill, NC, Karly Faring of Chepachet and Lana Faring of Cumberland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
