Wheeler of Burrillville, Rhode Island, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 72, on May 16, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wheeler and Rose Wheeler (Bellows); his brother Allen Wheeler; and his pet Lakota. He is survived by: his wife Joan Wheeler (Vanasse); his children, Jamie Wheeler and John Wheeler, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ava, Ethan and Adam; and his siblings, Charles Wheeler, Jane Comtois and Roxanne Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John can be made to Dana Faber Cancer Institute.
