He was predeceased by: his parent Edmund Gauthier; and his siblings, Albert, Henry, Leonard, Joseph, Rene Gauthier and Laurette Delisle.
He is survived by: his spouse Muriel Gauthier (Desrosiers); his parent Yvonne Gauthier (Deneault); his children, Donna Deroy of Nasonville and Edward Gauthier, Jr. of Woonsocket; and his sister Alice Lefebvre. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
