He is survived by: his uncle Eddy; his aunt Norma; his children, Aaron Vanderhoof and Erica Vanderhoof Palm; his grandchildren, Cameron Vanderhoof, Kate Vanderhoof, Reese Vanderhoof, Aaron Palm, Jake Robert Palm and Teddy Palm; and his siblings, Jane Hanlon and Mike Vanderhoof.
During the COVID pandemic, Roberto's restaurant donated food to hospital workers in the area.
In lieu of flowers, his friends and family request that donations be made in his memory to Mount Hope Farm, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving open spaces and historic architecture.
