She is survived by: her children, Raymond Castigliego Jr. and Lisa Castigliego; her grandchildren, Alyssa Brown (Richard), Rachelle Castigliego, Joshua Castigliego (Veronica), Tayla Florenzano, Zachary Mota and Tiffany Mota; and her great grandchildren, Bryce Brown and Jaxon Almeida.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel's honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
