He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Principe and Nicolina Principe (Bonanno); and his siblings, Dorothy "Dotty" Principe and Anthony Principe. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis; his wife Patricia A. Principe (Biancuzzo); his children, Pamela Principe, Michael Principe (Enrique) and Julie Principe (Adam); and his grandchildren, Patricia Hendrickson, Jack Hendrickson (Nicole), William Parmlee and Alejandra Principe. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
