He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold O'Brien and Mildred O'Brien (Votta); his daughter Shanna O'Brien; and his brother Kevin O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Denise E. O'Brien (Marsocci); his son Michael H. O'Brien (Elizabeth O'Brien); his granddaughter Ava O'Brien; and his siblings, Keith O'Brien, Gregory O'Brien, Jerry Costabile and Patricia Theroux.
