She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvaro Simao and Luzia Simao (Silva); and her brother Manual Aires Simoes. She is survived by: her children, Lisette M. Silva, Mary Joe Soares (Joseph), Alvaro M. Goes (Joyce) and Anthony J. Goes (Gina); and her brother James Simao (Eduarda). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, her six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Friends of St. Elizabeth.
