She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Varola and Gloria Varola (Graves); her siblings, James Varola and Nancy Amaral (Varola); and her nephew Clifford Ferreira, Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Paula J. Ferreira (Varola) and Peter J. Varola; her nieces, Christina M. Guimar (Ferreira) and Kimberly Roy (Amaral); and her nephew Christopher Amaral. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Special Olympics.
