She is survived by: her husband Charles Loring Carter; her daughters, Jennifer Dyson (John) of Bradenton and Allison Carter of East Providence; her grandchildren, Collin Gagnon, Elizabeth Dyson and Avril Gagnon; and her brother David Holt.
