He was predeceased by: his father Joseph L. Alves; his siblings, John Bisbano, Jr. (Shelley), Janice Meier (Daniel) and Christopher Bisbano; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Brown, Steven Brown (Anita) and Randy Brown; and also Pamela Benn.

He is survived by: his mother Lorraine M. Bisbano (Martin) of Barrington; his wife Linda L. Alves (Brown); his children, Sarah A. Alves (Eric Paulus) of Norton, MA and Justin J. Alves (Joseph Klein) of Brooklyn, NY.; his sister Patricia Bisbano; his granddaughters, Alice and Lucy Paulus; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Sullivan (Steven) and Karen Casale (Raymond); and his godchildren, Kelsey and Brandon. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (249 Danielson Pike, Scituate, RI 02857).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Episcopal Church or HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904, will be appreciated.
