She was predeceased by: her husband Thore "Ted" Andos; her sister Sandra Hail; and her stepsiblings, Merle, Robert and J. W..
She is survived by: her sons, Marshall (Carol) and Randall (Mimi). She is also survived by four grandchildren, a great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers -- this tough, resilient woman never lacked cheerful plants -- her family asks that donations in Joann's memory go to the Audubon Society of RI (asri.org) or a worthy charity of your choice.
