He is survived by: his son Richard Tavares (Nikki) of Bristol; his daughter-in-law Judi Tavares of Tiverton; his brother Joao Lima of Canada; his grandchildren, Dawn Ahrendt (Scott), Miki Toner (Scott), Ellie Tavares, Jill Fox (David), Mary Beth Tavares, Richard Tavares, Jr. and Katie Tavares; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Ahrendt, Courtney Perry (David), Brady Toner, Kyle Carney, Jackson Fox, Nolan Fox, Xavier Fox, Shea Fox and Walker Louchen.
