It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth A. Thornton of Bristol, Rhode Island, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Josephs and Mary Josephs (Alisio); her husband Phillip G. Thornton; and her sister Barbara L. Sullivan. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda A. Gouveia and Gail E. Pelletier (Jarod); and her grandchildren, Colton P. Gouveia, Hannah E. Gouveia (Mark), Cade P. Pelletier and Tyler Pelletier.
