He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Almeida-Lociano and Conceicao Almeida-Lociano (Andrade) of Bristol, RI.; his daughter Peggie Perrotto (Almeida); and his siblings, Alice Viera, Lucy Carreiro, Fred Almeida of Bristol, RI, Lorraine Mello of Portsmouth, RI and Adelino Almeida of Minster.

He is survived by: his wife Eva G Almeida (Palumbo); his children, Edward H Almeida Jr. (Joanne) of Springfield, MO, Judith Clancy (Michael) of Warren, RI and Jane Sousa (Joseph) of Warren, RI; his son-in-law Thomas Perrotto of Venice, FL; and his grandchildren, Todd Santos of Buffalo, NY, Dena Heavin (Almeida) of Ozark, MO, Kristeen Richardson (Almeida) of Springfield, MO, Michael Clancy Jr. of Miami, FL, Matthew Sousa of Warren, RI, Michelle Sullivan (Perrotto) of Portsmouth, RI and Chandelle Ostiguy (Perrotto) of Flower Mound, TX.. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
