We bid farewell to Alvin E. Edler Jr. of Bristol, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Edler Sr. and Sarah Edler (Trask); his daughter Karen Edler; and his sister Iva Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Edler (Cusson); his children, Janice Edler (David Strippe) and Thomas Edler of Las Vegas, NV; his brother Raymond Edler (Mary) of Bristol; and his stepgrandchildren, Holly Shephard (Kris) and David Strippe, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home (615 Main St, Warren, RI 02885). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Bay Church (645 Main St, Warren, RI 02885).
