He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Heiss; his children, Sam and Amelia Heiss Karlin; his brother Dr. Lawrence Karlin (Judith) of Weston, MA.; his nephews, Ben, Jeremy and Daniel Karlin; his sister-in-law Linda Heiss (Fred); and his parents, Herbert Karlin and Edna Karlin (Feld).
