Sarah S. Powers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah S. Powers (Barrington, Rhode Island), born in West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Pinkney Snelling and Sarah Clapham Smith Snelling (Johnston); her siblings, Matilda S Smith, Madeleine S Sinclair and Christopher P Snelling; and her son William Fuller Powers.
She is survived by: her husband William Rowland Powers III; and her children, Chris, Billy, Sarah Frese (Cal) of Lake Forest, Illinois, Janet C Powers of Barrington, RI, Donald W Powers (Dana) of Jamestown, RI, Rebecca R Powers of Delray Beach, FL and Christopher Johnston Powers (Peggy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 (soon to be 5) great grandchildren.
