It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross B. Phelps Jr. (Barrington, Rhode Island), who passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kathryn "Kay" Phelps Reddick, George Edward Phelps and Reginald Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Catherine E. Burkart Phelps of Southgate; and his children, Thomas B. Phelps (Laura Williams Phelps) of Medfield, Mass., Suzanne E. Phelps Smith (Graheme Williams) of Bellport, N. Y., Mary C. Phelps (Randall Taussig) of Reston, Paul A. Phelps (Lyla Sanchez Phelps) of Palo Alto and Richard J. Phelps (Sally Philipps Phelps) of West Boylston, Mass.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
