He is survived by: his spouse Georgeta Ghenta (Ionescu); his children, Michael Ghenta of Australia and Andrea Ghenta-Drimbarean of Barrington; his granddaughters, Christina, Monica and Corina Drimbarean; and his siblings, Anton Ghenta of Romania and Virginia Ghenta.
