She was predeceased by: her parents, Kamal Raufi and Zibandeh Motlagh. She is survived by: her children, Melika Ambrosio (Michael) and Dr. Matthew Shahbandi (Cara); her grandchildren, Michael Preston Ambrosio, Chloe Mary Shahbandi and Matthew Ryan Shahbandi; and her siblings, Shookoh Raufi, Parvin Pirmoradi, Soori Naffis and Dr. Noori Raufi.
