He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Huntoon, Sr. and Sally Huntoon (Hibbert); and his sisters-in-law, Mixon Lee (Paul Brabham), Gloria Hope (Creighton Owen) and Martha Ann (Ralph Sanderson) of Hope.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Dr. Sally Huntoon Vitali of Westwood; his son-in-law Hon; his granddaughters, Lucia Catherine and Sofia Carolyn Vitali; his siblings, Howard Huntoon, Jr. (Pete) and Nancy Forsyth (late William) of Burlington, Vermont.; his nephews, Burton (Gina Huntoon), Peter (Shannon Forsyth) and Gregory (Meghan Forsyth); his niece Andrea (Adam Biehl); and his siblings-in-law, Claude "Buddy" Leach (Laura) of Lake Charles and Frances Watson (Robert) of Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra & Music School or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
