He is survived by: his spouse Manamalage "Pushpa" Emil Sewwandi Fernando; his sons, Wathsala Jayasuriya (Nelushi) and Chathuraka Jayasuriya (Sonalya); his grandchildren, Wesley and Ahalya Jayasuriya; and his siblings, Ranjith Jayasuriya, Dhammika Ediriwikrama, Kamani Ranasinghe and Hiranthi Jayasuriya. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
