He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy M. Butler (Stewart); his parents, Clarence F. Butler and Mary B. Butler (Tingley); his daughter Joyce M. Heintz; and his brother Benjamin F. Butler.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice M. Brancaccio of St. James, N. C.; and his siblings, David T. Butler of Lincoln, Ruth E. Davis and Edith H. White. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
