He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whitney and Susan Whitney (Scira); and his niece Whitney Algiere. He is survived by: his sister Michelle; his brother-in-law John Algiere, Jr. of Ashaway; and his godson Dr. Benjamin Algiere (Amanda Quiñones). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
