She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Armstrong and Edith Armstrong (Scholey); her siblings, Carol J. Canning and David Jones; and her former husband Wallace S. Lewis, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Wallace "Wally" Lewis of Westerly, RI and Tracy Merritt of Charlestown, RI.; her grandchildren, Taylor Merritt of Charlestown, RI. and Corey Merritt of Charlestown, RI.; her sister Nancy Kiernan of Madison, CT; and her friend Anthony Scarpa.
