He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis, Jr. and Lois Evelyn Donahue (Wilkinson); and his stepson Donald F. Joslin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Melissa M. Donahue (Gibson); his stepson Brandon M. Joslin; and his siblings, Joanne Eastwood of Westerly, RI, Gladys Whitford of Las Vegas, NV, Ronald Donahue (Dianne) of Charlestown, RI, Paul Donahue (Karen) of Ashaway, RI and Roger Donahue of Westerly, RI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the Ashaway Fire Department.
