He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Jr. Naehr and Mary Elizabeth Naehr (Stewart); and his brother Patrick Naehr. He is survived by: his wife Dale Naehr (Monson); his sons, Joseph and Gregory Naehr; and his siblings, Larry Naehr and Nancy Krivanek. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
