He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michiko Hammond; his parents, Charles Hammond Sr. and Angeline Page Hammond; his children, Patti Hammond Burdick, Charles J Hammond III (Karen) and Normand William Hammond; and his sister Patricia Day. He was also cherished by 11 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Also, he was able to get the land known as Crandall Field donated to our town.
