He was predeceased by: his father Paul Staerk, Sr.; and his brothers, John and Jim. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Staerk (Britland) of Ringtown; his wife Nancy Staerk (Kelly); his children, Leslie Merrigan, Kimberly Staerk and Erik Staerk; and his sisters, Pati Kennedy and Virginia Landis.
