He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Paul "Pete" Lawson Sr. and Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Lawson (Dower). He is survived by: his wife Susan "Susie" Lawson (Caulfield); his children, Rachael Lawson-Yeager (Josh) and Joseph Benjamin "Ben" Lawson Jr. (Amanda Arnold); his grandchildren, Asher, Paisley Lawson, Harper, Liam Yeager and Sonny Arnold; his brother Paul Lawson (Deborah) of Frackville; his niece Laura Young (CJ); his sister Paula Jo Hornberger (Lance) of Ringtown; and his nieces and nephews, Austin (Victoria), Mitchell and Joyanne. He is also survived by great nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy as contributions in Joe's memory can be made to the Rescue Hook and Ladder Fire Co., 201 North Main Street, Shenandoah and will be also be accepted at the funeral home.
