He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herring and Grace Herring (Zimmerman). He is survived by: his brother Jack Herring; his wife Debra Edwards; his sons, Travis and Cole; his grandchildren, Zane and Vera; his sisters, Joan Boehmer (David) and Linda Pavlick; and his nephew John Herring, Jr. (Georgette). He is also survived by grandfather to his two grandchildren.
