He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles E. Sugita and Beatrice H. Sugita; his siblings, Amy Sugita Jones and Richard Sugita; his wife Gail Matsuno Sugita; his brother Kenneth (Gayle); his sons, Darrell (Mary) and Brent (Sally); and his granddaughters, Mallory and Meredith.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dr. Edwin Sugita may be made in support of pancreatic cancer research at Thomas Jefferson University.
