He was predeceased by: his wife Betty D. Richard (Reitz); his parents, Amandus Richard and Katie Richard (Keyser); and his siblings, Herbert Richard and Marie Richard.

He is survived by: his children, David Richard (late Patricia), Yvonne Buck (David) and Kathleen Young (Stuart); and his sisters, Jean Rushong (Leroy) and Fern Richard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's name to St Luke's Lutheran Church, 3206 Big Rd, Zieglerville, PA 19492 or Upper Frederick Fire Company, 2837 Little Rd, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
