She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Howells; her parents, Howard Stortz and Edna Stortz; and her sister Margie. She is survived by: her children, Carol Ivone (Rob Ivone), Ruth Howells-Schlechter, David Howells and John Howells; her niece Pam Laudenslager; her grandchildren, Brittney Fulmer, Haley Kalkbrenner, Christopher Sorbicki, Kelly Moyer, Heather Sides and Amanda Howells; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Moyer, Hadley Moyer, Emmy Sides and Rowan Sorbicki.
