With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter I. Hixon of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hixon and Grace Hixon; and his son Dana Alan Hixon. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hixon (DiCello); his children, Mark Hixon (Julia) of Fombell, Apryl Stallings (Daniel) of Tennessee and Melanie Scaife (Bill) of Florida; and his brother Kenny Hixon (Diane). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
