He was predeceased by: his parent Richard McKinney. He is survived by: his parent Joyce Richardson Schroeder; his wife Leslie Vayda McKinney; his children, Nathan, Haley and Logan; his brother Rick McKinney (Cindy); his brother-in-law Jeffrey Vayda (Anna); and his nephews, Patrick McKinney, Ryan Vayda, Rachel Lizik and Rick Balazs.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the McKinney children's 529 college fund would be appreciated.
